Relax and enjoy yoga!

Vinyasa Slow Flow with Steluta L.

Through physical exercises, called asane, performed during class time, the body strengthens and balances out. By focusing that is necessary in the execution of physical exercises, the mind relaxes, frees itself from stress and becomes stronger. Through controlled breathing and meditation both the body and the mind will develop, re-establishing the connection between the two so that to function in a unitary and harmonious whole.

Every hour of yoga is a new step that, teacher and student together, makes towards a more balanced life.

Womb Yoga with Dana N.

Womb yoga wishes to bring awareness and respect for sakti’s creativity, abundance and fertility experience – which manifests itself as the golden cosmic womb, a space from which we can realize all our needs, such as a baby takes everything he needs from his mother’s womb. And for women, this understanding has a double resonance because, as we are all supported by the great golden womb, each womb is supported by a woman. In all phases of a woman’s cycle (menstruation, pregnancy, lactation, menopause, etc.), we have the energy of the womb space – yonisthana chakra – which has the ability to bring us a profound intuitive wisdom and to reconnect with the creative earth energies – fluidity, food and fertility are the characteristics of this energy.

Tai Chi with Mihai

Taijiquan can be translated into romanian as *supreme perfection box* and is part of the so-called internal styles of chinese martial arts (wushu-kungfu).

The specificity of the internal styles and implicit of tai chi is that the practitioner, while practicing the movements, which is a coded alphabet of battle techniques, lets his mind fill itself with a vacuum to make it possible to capture energy of the universe and become fluent along the energy meridians in the body, while stimulating the activity of the chakra.

A constant practice of tai chi forms has remarkable effects in maintaining an optimal health status, having also a prophylactic role as well as a recovery method for certain diseases or even vascular accidents. It is also an effective method of relaxation, having almost immediate effect in fighting stress, improving nervous system activity.
The movements of the tai chi manipulate the musculature and articular system in a unique manner, requiring a rhythmic breathing that ultimately appeals to the diaphragm, boosting the circulation of blood and lymph, thus reducing the ecchymosis having a positive effect on stimulation of the cardiovascular and respiratory system. Positive effects also manifest on the skeletal, muscular, articular and even digestive system.

Yin Yoga with Dana M.

Yin yoga is a practice of meditation that brings attention to the physical body, deeper than yang (iyengar, ashtanga, vinyasa, etc.). As part of this form of yoga, the practitioner accesses deep tissues such as connective tissue and fascia, and, also, bone joints and the entire skeletal system. It supports flexibility and wrist health and good energy circulation in the body.

The practice of yin yoga is also called daoist yoga because it works on the meridians and brings energetic equilibrium to the organs. These, each having an influence on the mental, emotional and physical body.

The practice of yin yoga challenges us to be very intimate with ourselves and to listen to our sensations, feelings, emotions. It helps us occupy our house from the body and get to know each other deeply. It also brings us understanding and acceptance towards ourselves and helps us in addictive, deep pain, trauma and anxiety.

Body Art cu Dana M.

Based on the theory of five elements of chinese traditional medicine and on yin-yang principle, bodyart® is a holistic program combining exercises inspired by yoga, qigong, tai chi, medical gymnastics, dancing, shiatsu, coordinated with special breathing techniques. It is a complete system, a training that is equally conscious of body and mind. In a bodyart program you will find therapeutic, equilibrium, strength and awareness exercises, combined with stretching and relaxation techniques, in a way that the spine and joints are protected. This type of exercise, coordinated with the breathing rhythm, favors the awareness of the body as well as of the surrounding space, develops communication and liberation modalities, presenting multiple positive effects for the human equilibrium, seen as a unity between body, mind and soul. Relaxing music is also a background for the fluidity of movements and contributes together with the techniques themselves to the well-being of the participants.

Pilates cu Dana Constantin

PILATES – este constientizarea limitelor fizice, dirijarea energiei spre zonele delicate pentru consolidarea intregului corp.

DE CE PILATES?
1. Întăreşte musculatura profundă, activează funcțiile organelor interne;
2. Flexibilizează musculatura şi articulațiile dar protejează tendoanele;
3. Stimulează metabolismul prin stretching şi exerciții de respirație;
4. Corectează postura şi îmbunătățeşte stabilitatea tuturor segmentelor;
5. Ameliorează tensiunile musculare şi articulare, relaxează organismul prin exerciții terapeutice;
*Toate mişcările se fac cu precizie, cursivitate şi control permanent.

QI BALANCE

Qigong is a health cultivation system that is part of traditional chinese medicine, its approach being holistic, with physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual effects. Over 5000 years old technique, qigong has become known worldwide today, being considered by the world health organization as one of the most effective ways of preserve health. Researches have shown that tai chi and qigong reduce anxiety, depression, chronic pain, help strengthen the immunity system, improves the respiratory functions, substantially improves balance, bring benefits to the cardiovascular system, provide a powerful tool for stress management, and slow down the aging process. The class we are proposing consists of light but very efficient dynamic forms of working with energy, forms of mobility, breathing exercises, massage of points on energetic meridians – techniques designed to bring relaxation to body and mind, increase vitality, maintain health and the equilibrium of the soul.

Yin & Yang: Insight Yoga cu Dana Nedelcu

Insight yoga is a practice developed by sarah powers. It integrates the physical practice of yoga, both active and passive, in which we spend more minutes in a position, with traditional chinese medicine and mindfulness meditation.

The practice is a vehicle that helps us maintain harmony both in the body and in the mind and supports the inner balance. Through this practice we begin to feel when to be active and extrovert and when we should  draw back into passivity.

Yin & yang combines passive and active asanas with pranayama and meditation in a profound and wonderful practice. Yin qualities are considered to be more internal, passive, refreshing and closer to the earth, while yang’s qualities are more external, dynamic, warmer and skyward. Yin and yang are in close contact with each other and can only exist together, we cannot have night (yin) without day (yang) for example. Together they create a whole.

Yin yoga

Yin focuses on deep body tissues – wrists, bones and connective tissues. We stay in positions for a longer time and relax this way, progressively, with attention to the sensations and thoughts that appear.

It supports flexibility and wrist health and good energy circulation in the body.

The practice of yin yoga is also called daoist yoga because it works on the meridians and brings energy to the organs. These, each having an influence on the mental, emotional and physical body.

The practice of yin yoga challenges us to be very intimate with ourselves and to listen to our sensations, feelings, and emotions without reacting. It also brings us appreciation and acceptance towards ourselves and helps us in addiction, deep pain, trauma and anxiety.

Yang yoga

“through yin yoga we learn how to be quiet, but we need to use our muscles and express our energy – that is, ourselves.”

Yoga styles that have rhythm and repetition such as vinyasa flow, ashtanga and anusara are yang practices. Through the sun’s greetings and dynamic and powerful positions and sequences, we work on yang tissues – muscles, blood and skin tissue. These dynamic positions are wonderful to become more stable and authentic with what we are.

The benefits of yin & yang practice

  • yin / yang practice helps us understand how to be quiet by moving and how to float by tranquility.
  • balances energy in the body.
  • increases body mobility: it helps both to tone muscles and to lubricate the joints.
  • helps to remove stress. When heart and mind work synchronously, there is a much more profound practice in our lives that relieves our nervous system.
  • increases body resistance and immune system.
  • release the fascia of emotions and restrained tensions.
  • brings deep relaxation.
  • helps us pass through difficult moments of stress and anxiety with integrity and calm.

Guide

Practice will be guided by dana nedelcu. I am yoga instructor accredited by yoga london and i studied insight yoga: yin and yang with sarah powers.

I have been practicing yoga for 10 years. I have started with sahaja yoga and the crimson circle, after which i reached hatha yoga. I realize hatha courses: vinyasa flow yoga and yin yoga for 3 years. Recently i started to instrument kirtan meetings – the song of the heart, which is about bhakti and yoga mantra.

In addition to practicing yoga, which is my home space where i can always remember to return to what is really important in this life – divinity, i like to dance, to sing, to play – art! I believe with passion that we all can enjoy our freshness of creativity and thus life becomes more beautiful.

Prior to becoming a yoga instructor, i studied political science, psychology and art history. I worked in an art gallery in essex, united kingdom, after which i realized due to an injury that i was not following my way. After a long period of healing through osteopathy and yoga, and working with children, i have built the courage to advance in life by doing what suits me best.

Now, i am a yoga mentor, yoga and massage therapist, dancer, reiki practitioner and i am about to start the school of osteopathy this fall of 2016.

Regenerative yoga

If i could show you a way to actually look 10 years younger, would you do it?

I am tudor, yoga instructor; i graduated the scandinavia fitness school and i have passionately practicing classical yoga for 14. My purpose was to improve myself continuously, and so i have acquired the necessary knowledge for a superior practice, both mentally and physically. I have competencies in other disciplines related to regeneration and vitality amplification. They come in synergy with the yoga system and can thus create a synergy that will soon be felt on multiple levels such as health, rejuvenation, vitality, inner strength, and the ability to quickly recover after an effort of any kind. You will be surprises to find that, through consistent practice, you will be perceived younger than real age.

I am expecting for you, every saturday at 08:00 for an hour and a half of regenerative yoga.

Do you want to find mental and physical balance, flexibility, relaxation, wellbeing and better concentration, awareness and management of negative emotions, easily?

Our body needs some simple actions:

– sleep;

– meditation;

– movement;

– emotional balance;

– healthy diet.

Each hour will have a specific theme that will combine hatha yoga posts with mindfulness. We will reach 3 of the 5 essential elements for each of us: meditation, movement and emotional balance. Our reality is our intention and action. At the end of the hours you will insert in your life the practices of “mindfulness” that you can practice anywhere, anytime. Are you ready to go together on this journey to find vibrant energies inside?

I’m expecting you to be here, now, our best version! Now listen to the intuition, i’m waiting for you!

Power is in you.

Practica asanelor aduce disciplina si concentrare, aspecte esentiale meditatiei.
Pranayama este tradusa in general drept controlul respiratiei, constand in tehnici menite sa stapaneasca procesul respirator, mintea si emotiile.
